Default Rocket Launches East of Mansfield

I got another message from the model rocket group that they will be
launching from their site 10 miles east of Mansfield. See below for
the email text:

We will be launching from the Snell Ranch site, 2 miles south of the
highway 10 miles east of Mansfield Saturday and Sunday. We anticipate
a moderate turnout with the weather Saturday favoring high flights.
The launch site is by the Quonset hut. As usual for higher flights,
the possibility of 8 minute descent times exists, with the downwind
quadrant most likely.

The following is the NOTAM for KEPH this weekend:

09/004 - AIRSPACE UNMANNED ROCKET 2NMR EPH338025/8 E 8W3
FL250/BLW. 24 SEP 15:00 2011 UNTIL 25 SEP 02:00 2011. CREATED: 21 SEP

A local rocket club launches once a month on the local lake bed,
within about 3nm from the airport.
They post a NOTAM, normally their altitude is 7500MSL to 13000MSL.
