Default Warbird Runway Crash

Hello All,

'Round my part of town, I get to catch a show called Maximum
Exposure. This weeks particular show, usually a piece of the same
footage is shown on the intro, shows an F4U Corsair taxiing down a
runway and clipping another warbird. The F4U lost it's left wing and
disintegrated, flipping over and over. Anybody know the story??
Everyone okay? Were the planes a complete loss or rebuildable??
Where'd it happen and when?? Am I imagining things?? Just a curious
George. Mark

It happened at Oshkosh a few years ago.
The guy in the Corsair suffered major injuries, but survived. The guy the
Bearcat (who the Corsair hit) walked away. The other Corsair that was along
side the first Corsair went off the runway.
Here is a link to the NTSB accident report.

That same Bearcat flew into Oshkosh last month.
