Default Who is "Johnny" in Fighter Pilot by Paul Richey?

I have a question about Paul Richey's account of the Battle of
Britain, given in "Fighter Pilot", B T Batsford, 1941

A pilot called "Johnny" has his photo on Plates 3 and 18. Does anybody
know the surname of this pilot?

I think this person was a Group Captain at HQ of 2 Allied Tactical Air
Force, Munchen Gladbach, in 1956.

I have a paperback (republished in 1969 and printed 1977) that lists the
pilot in both pics as "Johnny Walker". In the postscript to the book,
Johnny Walker is listed as surviving the war as a wingco.

Thanks Dave. That's him. My 1941 edition has no names, presumably for
censorship reasons.
