Great we got that one down now how about:

1) The glider type and pilot on an episode of 'Lassie'

Don't remember that one, but I will guess 1-26 or 1-23.

2) The glider type and pilot on an episode of 'Black
Sheep Squadron'

This one intrigues me, how did they fit this into a
WW2 F4U series?

Gotta be honest here, I know the glider types, but
not the pilot

Who was the pilot in the glider sequence at the start
of the movie? (No credit for Snake Pliskin)

Name the model glider used.

Bonus question-
Who was the tow pilot?

Believe this was a 2-33. Made use of the stealthy sailplane to spot a Japanese
radar ship that would run and ride when fighters approached. 2-33 transmitted
the position of the ship and the fighters sunk it. 2-33 was shot at couple
times before the good guys arrived.

Janus2k wins the Black Sheep question - he got the plot right, and I'm not
sure if it is a 2-22 or 2-33 either.

The lassie answer is a 2-32. Woman pilot named Carole (in the show) and
they were doing an survey of some sort. I think that the helmet she was
wearing was a really "special".

Now can anyone tell me more about the Dukes of Hazard Blanik? That would
have to be really good for a laugh.

I saw it only briefly, but decided it was not a 2-33.
Perhaps it was a 2-22?
