Sioux City, Iowa has decided to make the best of its ICAO moniker,
SUX, rather than change it. The airport’s new slogan FlySUX, is
the centerpiece of a new marketing campaign. The FAA offered five
alternative designators, including GAY (no, we didn’t make it up).

LOL! no big surprise the FAA would offer "GAY" since they
love to celebrate GAY Pride so much!

I wonder if there is a "FUC" or an "ASS"?

Maybe they could give "SFO" to Sioux City
and change San Francisco to "GAY"?

I believe they were both offered early retirement. Hayes now
suppliments his post-retirement income by offering lectures on the
incident.
You can always start an airline and pay the lineman the best saleries
and offer the quarterback the left overs. However, you're going to get
the quarterback you paid for.

Only the top executives get pay for performance, or more likely, they will
even get pay for "not" performance, too.

It all makes me sick.

SUX isn't that bad, considering

The Sioux City officials who have twice petitioned the U.S. Federal
Aviation Administration to change their "unflattering code" of SUX
should consider themselves lucky they don't live in Fukuoka, Japan.

Flying to Fukuoka last year, we got luggage tags that gave new meaning
to the Mile High Club. Apparently we were on route to FUK.
