Another way of saying the same thing is that the North 40 is adjacent to and
immediately south of Runways 9/27 and runs from the west end of the field
(approach end of Rwy 09) east to the warbird area.

"N40" is shorthand for "the north 40 acres", which is the general aviation
camping area to the north of the main display area.

....and also wraps around to the 'north' side of 9/27, up by the Hilton,
Super 8, and Friar Tuck's.

Nice photos Andrew. BTW, Picture 143 (currently unlabeled) is a Rutan

That building with the ICOM poster on it is loaded with wireless

....and stretches all the way east to "east of the terminal" on the
north side of Rwy 9-27, and north of the T-hangers, and in the
"infield" and all sorts of other nooks and crannies where we stuff
airplanes.

But which row? Relative to the building, how many rows up or down (in the
picture) and how many planes in?

Looks like three planes west (west is up) of the red shower building, not
quite to the curve in the road. His plane is the first one, next to the
road. It would be four planes but the spot across from his is empty.

Wow, you guys were a loooong way from where we turned back (at the
registration building at the east end of the N 40). I'm not sure we
could/would have come all that way anyway. Dave's wheelchair was good, and
never ran out of juice, but that's gotta be another mile each way. Sorry we
missed it.
