Removing the coatings?

This is a hypothetical question.

If you were faced with a Ceconite covered wing, and you wanted to
remove coating back to the fabric and start with a new silver coating,
is there any way to gracefully do that?

I'm visualizing someone trying it with MEK and a lot of rags and a
big mess. - Mike

Although paint remover can be used on Ceconite, most removed paint is done
mechanically.

As I understand, first the seam tapes are ripped off. This leaves an edge
which a putty knife can then peel off all the paint. Just make sure to have
rounded corners on the knife and you will find the paint strips down to
bare fabric,The might be a few spots that you will have to use MEEK or paint
remover. This process is used quite frequently on Bellanca Vikings. Check
