Default 7075 T6 Angle

I am working with plans circa 1963 that call out 7075 T6 1" angle.
Anyone know if it's still manufactured? Don't see it in ACS or Wicks.
Thanks,
Clark

I have ends and pieces of several different shape extrusions in 7075 T6511
which I picked up at Boeing Surplus a few years ago. No 1" angle though,
sorry. If you aren't in the Puget Sound area, you might put out a request
for someone who might be shopping there.

He'll probably need to know what thickness you are looking for.

What I am specifically looking for is a 6" piece of 7075 T6 or T6511
1" x 1/8" angle to fabricate the last part of my wing attach system. I
don't think I am qualified to select material for substitution but was
thinking of 4130 welded into this configuration. (The plans called out
4130 for the main spar attach brackets.) My concern about 4130 in this
application would be thermal expansion since it will be attached to a
stack up of 7075 fittings.
Am I too cautious? What say ye.....

If anyone out there in homebuilders land has a suitable recommendation
for a substitute, please advise.

Thank you,
Clark

Try Teirnay Metals. I don't have one of their catalogs anymore. but
they supposedly stock virtually every extrusion ever used by the
major manufacturers. We used to order lots of different size angles
and channels when we were modifying Falcon 20's.

They were acquired by somebody else several years ago, fallout from
when they got nailed for price fixing.
