From a very informed source (not me)
It's a ¾(?) scale replica of an SE 5a, with a spurious serial number, in the markings of No 29 Sqn RFC. The real F235 would have been an Airco DH 9A, but the order was cancelled. "Glenn" wrote in message ... I think it's a SE-5A replica but not really sure |

"Glenn" wrote I think it's a SE-5A replica but not really sure Yes it is a SE-5A replica, From Wikipedia, A replica is a copy that is relatively indistinguishable from the original. Replicas are often used for historical purposes, such as being placed in a museum. One definition of "replica" has emerged that defines one as a copy of an original object, that can only be made by the original company (or corporate descendent) of the firm that made the original object-any other sort of copy of an original object would be called a "reproduction" instead. Because of its reduced size, this is neither a replica nor reproduction. Bob Moore |

Bob Moore However the Civil Aviation Authority have it registered as Type: REPLICA SE5A, see the link below. http://www.caa.co.uk/application.asp...llregmark=BMDB You may be correct but far be it from me to attempt to correct such a professional organisation. -- Andrew B (Cheshire, England) "Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible."
