if your belts need to be certified and if it's a certificated glider the
hardware on the old belts if made in Europe may not be on the approved parts
list in the USA ......check carefully with the belt shop beforehand to find
out if the hardware you wish to reuse is approved and if they have the
proper documents to reuse this hardware here

Some of the release boxes on Gadringer seatbelts appear to have been
manufactured by Pacific Scientific Co., California.

I discovered this when looking at a belt where the Gadringer sticker had
worn away, and I could see the Pacific Scientific Co engraved into the
metal.

Just another reason that your gliders should have been
certificated as EXPERIMENTAL. You can use the belts
you want.
