Default BPS Program on Daily winning out over pilots?

I may have missed something as I caught only a little of the PBS
program due to the band opening and catching a bit from a station I
don't normally get. It looked like they were making Daily out to be
the environmentally friendly hero winning out over the pilots and
turning the airport into the beautiful park it was meant to be.

Did I get that right, or did I miss something important?
