First Meigs and now Cook county/Chicago will have highest sales tax in
Nation.

Just one more reason not to visit and blow away your hard earned
money.

I wonder if Boeing is having second thoughts?

Boeing's civilian aircraft are sold in Washington State, which, to put it
mildly, is Boeing-friendly. Don't know if the move of the corporate
headquarters to Chicago affected this, but really suspect that Boeing would not
have moved its headquarters without similar arrangements.

If the state of Washington is Boeing-friendly why did Boeing move its
corporate headquarters to the state of Illinois?

IL ponied up more relocation assistance ( corporate welfare) than CO
or TX and the BA executives wanted to be near the center of the US for
travel purposes. Extra flight hours into SeaTac kills the golf game
