Zounds!

I am always impressed when I watch Boeing's latest jets up close -
easily far quieter than single engine Cessna props. Outside of an
occasional F-18, the noisiest thing I've ever heard at Boeing Field
was an old Learjet 24 freighter.

Many years ago I was in West Germany, near the border with the east, when a Soviet Tu-95 flew past hugging the
airspace border, I swear that has to be the loudest aircraft on the planet!
