Default Harris Hill, NY's amazing soaring conditions. and everyone thinks the

Friday July 15th, 2011 at Harris Hill NY. Haven't been getting much
rain here and the soaring weather has been phenomenal. This is 1 of 3
amazing soaring days this week. 7000FT AGL cloud bases and 6-10 kt
thermals. 2 other days the soaring was still above average for this
time of year. Come fly region 3 that starts the end of July and this
is what you could see. There is no significant rain in the extended
forecast so for now this soaring weather is here to stay!!

Geez the lack of electronic vario might have us folks out West
thinking you guys are not used to finding lift that often... :-)

I was flying commercial rides for the club. Some of our club gliders
dont have all the fancy stuff. haha
