Default AVSIG'ers Where are they?

What happened to the Compuserve AVSIGers? are they disbanded? or still
alive?

As far as I know, they are still alive. I used to be very active there,
but they got just too hard to interface with. You *could* get to the group
over the internet, after paying an additional charge, but it was so much
less convenient than the old TAPCIS had been. I was checking in less and
less, and finally gave up. Still some great folks there though, last I
checked.

Crikey, AVSIG, TAPCIS...I remember those days. It was a post on AVSIG
that got me my first ride out to Oshkosh (thanks Paul Bertorelli).
