Default Ticket Taxes fund Corporate Jets

It is BS and half truths. Yes, money from the government is
used to fund RELIEVER airports to lure much of the traffic
from the major airports to other nearby airports. The
corporate jets pay huge fees in fuel taxes that the airlines
do not pay. They do not get mail contracts. They don't get
most of the support the airlines get from cities trying to
attract tourists.

Corporate aviation uses jest and many smaller aircraft to do
business which pays taxes and fees to do their business.
The FAA services they use are minimal and many are used only
because they are required by law.

Airlines do not pay taxes, they just collect money from
their passengers and send it to the government.
Corporations pay taxes and where possible they pass along
those as part of their cost of doing business. But often
they have to absorb the fees into their profit margin. No
profit, no business...everybody gets fired and then no need
for airports or FAA.

A real outrage was when FAA money was used at Atlanta's main
airport to put up a statue in the passenger lobby.

BTW, newspapers don't get much advertising revenue from
Cessna, Beech or LearJet, so is it any wonder why the AP
report is airline biased?
