Just wonderin' if anyone had an idea *when* this might
have been taken... Craft ID would be nice too, since I
dunno much about Brit stuff :-)

I ran a search for "buccaneer XN981" (that appears to be the obvious
number on the wings) and received 1230 hits on Google including the

Your English is far, far better than my schoolboy-grade French, so you

UK English uses "apologise"; "apologize" is American English.

I remember first seeing the Buccaneer at a Farnborough air show. I
think it was referred to as the NA.39 in those days. Nice and loud
using reheat when accelerating fast, though the Lightning and Vulcan,
in their different ways, never disappointed either.
