UK pilots - Graphical NOTAM data available again soon

Ian Fallon, author of the NOTAMPLOT software which
yields a graphic representation of NOTAM data for the
UK, has posted the following good news for UK pilots:

'I will be re-enabling the website in Jan and the software
will be downloadable from there too ( http://www.notamplot.flyer.

'As you can see the next generation of NotamPlot will
be hugely improved
with an official source of data from/via Avbrief )

'Again I won't be charging non-commercial users for
NotamPlot but would
also like to encourage you all to subscribe to support
Avbrief. Most
future NotamPlot features will be subscriber-only I
think to help
encourage this.

'Launch is set for the middle of January and if you
don't want the hassle
of a large download over the internet, simply buy a
copy of the Feb
issue of Flyer and install it from the cover CD )

As many glider pilots have no need of the Avbrief facilities
and are unlikely to subscribe to it, those downloading
the NOTAMPLOT software and finding it satisfactory
might like to send a donation to a charity, as Ian
Fallon requested when making his original software
available. Perhaps a note to Ian of what you have
sent would be in order, for him to see the effects
of his generous efforts on our behalf.
