Default EAA Sun-N-Fun Survey????

Has anybody wasted there time filling out this survey only to find it wont
accept itself...unless you change a bunch of your answers???

Just curious...and no...I'm NOT AOPA. !!!

I'm a EAA member that happened to go to Sun -N- Fun this year and was sent
this survey by...I dont know who...to fill out based on my experience. It
seems to be wanting to know if I like AOPA...which raises all kinds of
"warning flags" from LAL !!!

Comments?

I got that survey too. I assume it was because I gave 'em my e-mail address
when I registered.

The survey is a bit unique in that they want you to follow directions (I had
to *correct* a few answers myself on questions where I hadn't read the
directions.)

As far as AOPA goes, I'm sure they are a tag-along sponsor, or a big renter
of space at SnF. My guess is that someone (probably AOPA or the SnF
organizers) wants to know if either AOPA is wasting its time, or if AOPA is
getting a good enough response at SnF to increase its participation level.

Keep in mind that Sun n Fun is not owned or operated by the EAA, as
AirVenture is.

You're right Ken. Lakeland is a "For Profit" corporate venture perpetuating
the funding of the "Museum" to gain a "Not for Profit" status.

I tracked the source of the E-Mail and it did originate at National EAA.
I tried taking the survey again with the same results. Just makes you
wonder...if you dont answer the question just the way they want you
to...your survey is rejected. Sounds familiar to me. I live in Florida and
"selected areas" had a similiar problem with voting system 4 years ago.
Makes you wonder if EAA NAT only wants "selected results" contained in there
"survey" (???)

I'm certainly not against AOPA by any means...but I just feel the original
concept of EAA is going by the wayside in favor of the "Big Money" sponsors.
I just hate to see it happen, thats all.

EAA has done a number of surveys in the past like this one. Yes, it barfed
on my submission, too. However, to think that the submission problem is
because EAA is writing custom java/script to only accept certain answers is
naive and paranoid. Let's leave the trolls alone.

Yeah Ed...you're probably right. Dont stir the pot.
That handful of little blue pills the doc has me take everyday is probably
meant to combat this "naivety and paranoia" thing. I just wish they would
kickin and start working.
Hey...we need all the sponsors for Sun-N-Fun we can get!...maybe I can
afford to go again sometime! :-)...sometime.
