Were these flight or navigation trainers. I have never seen one before.

Default uk Varsity trainers at hullavington 76-77

The Varsity was used for navigation and bomb aimer training , the under
belly bulge has a position for the bomb aimer similar to those found on
V-bombers.It was also used for multi engine conversion for pilots .The
Jetstream took over the pilot and nav training from about 1974-75
