Default Pilot's Assistant V1.6.7 released

Users of this freeware toolset may like to know that a new version is
now available. The main change is an update to the magnetic variation
(declination) table using the latest IGRF10 model. This table is used
by the toolset in lat long (including great circle) calculations.

Pilot's Assistant is an Excel multi-page spreadsheet providing
information and calculations for flight planning (including fairly
realistic fuel planning), navigating (including wind corrections,
magnetic variations, lat long calculations, great circle routes),
computing various kinds of speeds and altitudes, and executing common
flying manoeuvres. It contains fuel/performance data for several
popular aircraft, and is intended to be a useful learning and
reference aid for several aspects of simulated flying.

For more information, and to download the toolset, go to the Pilot's
Assistant Home Page:

If you are interested in this toolset but do not have Microsoft Excel,

Regards to all

Hey, thanks Brian...

That's some pretty tricky spreadsheet coding, would make our Gregory
jealous.

Thanks to you, too, Dallas.

Feedback of any kind is much appreciated - it's the only payment a
freeware author gets, and it's quite rare!

Best regards

Brian
