Japan was already rampaging through China and the Far East, and Italy was already fumbling around in Africa. Most Germans would have been glad to have seen Nazi tryanny overurned. Many Germans simply feared the Nazis and went along meekly - too afraid to say even Booh ! There was clearly a bit more support than that. There weren't enough Nazis around to drag the entire population along unwillingly. |
