Default Fiberglass revisited

I came across some fiberglass at 1.6oz per yard. I bought a small
sample to play with but it's an extremely fine weave. I've been using
the 1.45 oz e-glass for a while now. Can anyone tell me if this is just
as good, better or worse to use?

It's harder to wet out. Strength should be the same, or better.

Just out of curiosity, what are you doing that requires such
lightweight glass?

Thanks, Bob K.

Well, I was putting my fuel tank together but ran out of the 1.45 that
I had from A/S
So I ordered some from another company just to try out. At the same
time I ordered some
..73oz and .5 just to play with. I was just a bit concerned when the
stuff I ordered was
extremely fine compared to the A/S stuff.
