Default MD 500 Composite blades

Maybe 5-7 years ago I had a conversation with a bade manufacturer who said they were close to having a compost main rotor blade for an MD500. Was claiming a 10% increase in performance. Anyone know if any composite blades have been developed and certified for the MD 500"s?
