Default Cobra Trailer Question

When ordering a new Cobra Trailer from an authorized dealer: are the insides specific to a particular glider or merely specific to the size of glider - i.e 15 meter, 18 meter, Single Seat, 2-place. Or are the rails and wing storage brackets specific to a particular Make and Model?

There are a lot of parts which may be specific to a certain model.
Some gliders require different tops (especially older bigger-chord
or big-fin models). Some 18-meter gliders fit in a 15-meter trailer
with removable tips. Anyway, your dealer can help you.

Happy to help you with Antares-specific options !
Best Regards, Dave "YO-electric" (and Cobra dealer)

Thanks Dave, So is there some kind of cross reference that could be used to plug in "what model the trailer was made" for "AND what glider will fit?"

I think you'd need to check with Spindelberger about a specific
transplant question. I don't know if they have a table of glider
types to trailer spec (top, width, length, plus zillion fittings)...
Sorry !

Default Cobra Trailer Question

Spindelberger is the BEST. I bought an SZD-59 in the USA with a poor trailer. I ordered a new trailer from Cobra and they actually went out and found an SZD-59, measured it, and put it in the trailer to confirm it was built correctly before they shipped it to me. The plane fit perfectly into the new trailer.

In my experience, Agnes knows everything. Just give her a number and
she can tell you all about it.

No wonder he married her.

Absolutely, Spindelbergers are great.
Take a photo of the data-plate of the trailer you're asking
about and send that...

Hope that helps,
Best Regards, Dave "YO electric"
