Default A Brilliant Idea

While sipping my cold suds and laying on the beach, I had opportunity to
watch the banner tows cruise up and down the strip. Looking at my fellow
beach-goers, I noticed they stopped looking up at the tows after the
first few have gone by. It was then, due to a seredipitous mixture of
beer and heatstroke, that I had my Big Idea...

Rig up a loudspeaker system on the tow plane, and make a recording of
engine in the last stages of (cough...sputter...cough) death. Play it
out the window, while pitching the nose up and down a little and tossing
in some wing waggles. Wallow your way up and down the strip. Think
biplane from "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World."

You could probably charge double the going rate, until everyone else
copied you. But you'd always be the first.

Remember, you read it here first!

Mike

Oh that's just evil... brilliant... but evil.

Pity those subwoofer magnets are so big and heavy, but you could put a
system together that could run from 12 volts as long as your battery can
cope. Drop into any local car sound place and the youngest salesman will be
able to sell you a system that would have the sound power you need!

Of course, your wallet will need to be able to cope with the debt that
Gatton Shire Council have run up in the last few years. Maybe you could cut
costs and use your fuel selector?

Add smoke for even more realism!

| Lemme guess "today the beach, tomorrow the world!"

Why not just play "The Ride of the Valkyries" by Wagner?

It's been done. Besides, it might cause men of a certain age to
reflexively dive for cover, resulting in injuries. And litigation.

Not if they love the smell of napalm in the morning.
