Region 9 Parowan update # 4
In the next few days, we again will post a updated pilots list
for Parowan. Its best to remember that the 2004 Regionals at Parowan only saw 49 show up and the 2005 Sports Class Nationals at Parowan had only 48 show up. So, both contest's ended up short of the cutoff of 50 entrants. Both were over subscribed. Don't let the pilot list stop you from applying, thinking you won't get in. Out of all the contest's I have been to, over the last 5 years, only one had folks that showed up, at the contest, hoping to get in, and didn't. That was by one!!!!! Even the Seniors drop off. So, don't give up early, and not apply, thinking you won't get in. When early entry closes, a standby list starts, and if you don't get in, you will be refunded your deposit. I do gar...run....tee one thing, if you don't apply, you then are really taking a chance on not getting in........... Thermal tight, Soar high, Fly safe, # 711 reporting. |
