I don't. I have yet to get any trash in a fuel sample from my aircraft, so I return
all fuel to the tanks.

No. What is a GATTS jar (I can guess, but is this a generic term or a
specific brand?)
I have never found anything but clean fuel in my tester, and it goes back in
the tank.

Looks like it is actualy GATS Jar.

Basically, it is a fuel sampler with a screen, so you can pour the
sample back in even if it has floaters in it.
