Yield signs in the pattern
Just an idea. Landed at Longmont 2V2 today and some jerk transitioned the
pattern 100 feet above pattern altitude. Came up on my six o'clock - never saw him until he was filling my windshield. Just one more reminder to keep the head on a swivel... Michael |

He was chief instructor for both Longmont and Boulder (maybe his wife was Cheif, but he instructed there). He was a good guy, and I was thinking about him recently while tooling around in a Cub. No, I'll just assume that any pilot that transitions through a pattern at an uncontrolled airport at pattern altitude has some amount of jerk in him waiting to get assigned...
