Default Commercial - StrePla Update

StrePla Users,

There are new versions of StrePla3 and pocket*StrePla available. Below are
the release notes on the free upgrades. The new 3D glider models are very
cool. It is fun to replay my flight from last summer using the model of the
glider type I flew. The other huge new feature is that US Sectional
Aeronautical Charts are available free of charge for the entire continental
US. See details below.

Good Soaring,

Paul E. Remde

We are proud to be able to offer you StrePla's Version 3.3 and
pocket*StrePla's Version 2.
The news in bullet points:

StrePla
Direct communication now also with Cambridge 302
The dialogues and the procedures regarding the direct communication have
been completely revised. There is no need for a manual connection any more.
Just open the dialogue "Direct Communication" and switch on the flight
recorder. Aircraft type can be chosen for the 3D representation. You have a
choice of 26 different types, ranging from ASH 25 to the Röhnlerche. Some
motor-gliders (DG800) even extend their motors during engine operation. (Two
models are installed in the standard installation. You can download the
others)
The OLC-form has been extended in regard to the Barron-Hilton-Cup
registration. More than one country can now be selected when importing at
the import-filter for the Meier-turnpoint database, so it is easier to
import. When transmitting the program to the PDA, you can select the memory
card.

pocket*StrePla
Competition model added. This contains: departure procedure (line, cylinder,
etc.), Assigned Area Task (AAT) support, estimated time of arrival (ETA).
Vertical and horizontal airspace warning in the traffic-light logic already
known from pocket*StrePla. Green - far away enough-. Yellow - careful, it's
getting tight. Red - too late, the competition day is over. Constant
distance display. The program can be started from the memory card. This is
very important, since all PDA's "forget" everything if they have not been
charged for 2 weeks. Three clicks, and pocket*StrePla will be installed anew
from the memory card. Direct communication (at present: Cambridge, LX20,
LX5000, Posigraph, Colibri, Volkslogger) is now also available for
pocket*StrePla. Declarations can be loaded from the PDA to the flight
recorder and finished flights can be read from the flight recorder. No need
to take the laptop to the aircraft. The PDA is enough. What a relief! Many
small, helpful changes that have made flying with pocket*StrePla even more
pleasant!

Best comes last - these updates are free of charge for StrePla3 and
pocket*StrePla customers!.

This is the way to download.
