Default Lycoming O-235 dimensions question

Regarding the Lycoming O-235, O-290D and O-290D2...

Lycoming says the engine is 29.06 inches long.

But does that include the mags? Or just to the accessory case?

Does someone have one handy that they might check on that?

Appreciate it.

Default Lycoming O-235 dimensions question

Just in case it helps, I just measured an O290D and found it near
exact 22" from the rear face of the mounting ears to the plane of the
front face of the crankshaft flange. Sorry, no mags or accessories on
it, so I can't help you with the original question.

Thanks, Bob K.

Richard,
Check your mail inbox. Photos are in it of a 152 with a O235L2C with a tape
measure showing the distances. I have more photos if needed.

Best Regards,

I got it, John.
And replied.
You covered the subject most throughly.
Thanks so much.

And thank you too, Bob.
