Morelli M1
Visited the Toronto Aerospace Museum today (more of a restoration
workshop than museum, but quite interesting). Anyway, hanging from the ceiling in a back corner was a sailplane. Looked to be quite small, under 15 meters, shoulder wing single-seater. There was no information posted, but a handout describes it as a Morelli M1. Anyone have any information on this bird? Thanks, Sid |

That's probably a good guess. According to Jane's World Sailplanes, the
M-100 originally had a 14 meter wingspan. It was later changed to 15 to meet standard class requirements. Nick Gilbert wrote: Maybe a Morelli M100? Nick. "Sid" wrote in message ... I used to own a Morelli M100S, C-FBNG ser. no ?.
It may be it, or a sister ship. Looks and performs like its contemporary, Ka6, wood + GRP nose section, very powerful airbrakes, delight to fly!
