Default Soaring rides in Tahoe

My wife and I are visiting Tahoe this Fall and considering a sailplane ride.. I've found TTSA and Soaring NV, perhaps there are more that offer rides. Anyone know these and can comment on whether one is better than the other or if there's a better option? Thanks.

I did a local area/equipment check ride and flew Soaring NVs ASK 21. Found them to be a well run and friendly operation. I am one of those folks that's uncomfortable with new places and people, but that quickly disappeared with them. The pilot I flew my checkout ride with was easy going and a pleasure to fly with. Tahoe is my wife's favorite vacation spot. We're east coasters so we don't get out their often enough. Have a great time!

I am biased as I fly out of Truckee. You will find both places professionally run and friendly. Most people find the Truckee area more picturesque than Minden, though both will give a ride that includes great views of Lake Tahoe. At Truckee there are two 2-32 gliders capable of taking two on the ride at once (with a max weight limit) - not sure about Soaring NV. Truckee does close for the season at the end of September, so after that your only choice is Soaring NV.

I saw a 2-32 at Minden when I called in there a couple of weekends back.
