Default Re LS10 info

First thing, Bob, great work with HP24, interesting
watching the project, and with the experimental class
well established in the US, makes a fair bit of sense.
As I live in the UK somewhat academic!

Pretty much most european single seater were some manufacturers
top competeition gider of one generation or other.
The problems are almost infinite product life and a
much slower rate of performance increase. How many
non competition pilots want or will use more performance
than an LS8 18.

At current rates of depreciation an LS 10 would have
to be 35 years old to reach my price band, il probably
be dead by then so why do i care how much they sell
them for

However, all is not lost, A number of companies are
now relaunching previously certified gliders, 304CZ
(std/15/18m class variants), LS4, LS6, even a few Jantar
standard 3s,

They are selling at a fraction of the price of the
LS10,

these are not cutting edge aircraft but a awful lot
of pilots would be very happy to have this level of
performance and tey are all perfectly plesant aircrat
to fly.

there are also a number of iteresting moulded ultralites
on both sides of the atlantic

since there is not a whole lot wrong with most 15 year
old gliders what is the real problem? most glider pilots
never have an never will own a new glider.

I dont think the world is ending just yet
