Default economy cruise rotax 912

If the engine temps are in the operating range is there any concern
about running a Rotax 912UL for prolonged periods at 4000RPM or lower?
What fuel consumption can one expect at that rate?
I understand that max fuel economy and max range are likely to be
achieved at just above the best glide speed. At that speed in my
skyranger the Rotax is only ticking over at around 3800.
thanks for all comments and advice.
