Title
SECRET TIPS FROM SEBASTIAN KAWA: THE WORLDS GREATEST SOARING PILOT

Description
We are kicking off our 2019 "1st Tuesday" Webinar series with a VERY SPECIAL guest. Please join us for what is sure to be an incredible evening of "hangar flying" with the GREATEST SOARING PILOT in the history of the sport, Sebastian Kawa. A 2nd generation Polish glider pilot, Sebastian is a 22X World Champion and is currently ranked (FAI) #1 in the world!

Sebastian is also the author of SKY FULL OF HEAT. This insightful book covers many soaring topics (including a brutally sincere chapter on safety issues) and is full of tips that you simply won't find in any other soaring book.

After attending this webinar, you will know :
- How to prepare for and execute XC flights
- How to find thermals and as importantly WHERE to look for them
- How to fly competitions and WIN

The "1st Tuesday" (1st Tues of each month at 7pm CENTRAL) webinar series is presented by a different guest "expert" and focuses on a myriad of soaring topics ranging from soaring safety, off field landing techniques, soaring weather, badge flying, setting up your glide computer, flying cloud streets and SO much more!

Our "3rd Tuesday" webinar series (3rd Tuesday of every month at 7pm CENTRAL) is always presented by soaring coach extraordinaire, Eric Carden, and focuses on all the skills required to begin flying XC

THIS AND ALL OF OUR WEBINARS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE FAA WINGS PROGRAM! The FAA Pilot Proficiency Program, or "WINGS" program, promotes educational training which can reduce accident rates dramatically. Participating in this program can help reduce your insurance rates and count towards your bi-annual flight review!

It is easy to sign up for the WINGS program and it's FREE. Go to www.faasafety.gov for more information. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU USE THE SAME EMAIL TO REGISTER FOR WINGS AS YOU DO TO REGISTER FOR OUR WEBINARS.

Seats for our webinars are limited to 500 and fill up fast so REGISTER TODAY!

Date and Time
Tue, Feb 5, 2019 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM PST 7PM CENTRAL

Broadcast simultaneously on FB Live
Easy, platform is powerful and compatible, will reach a larger audience of non pilots.

Yah with high volumes of people wanting to watch these Webinars it would probably be a good idea to live stream them on facebook, or even better, YouTube. Both platforms would allow for more people to view and comment on the webinar live as well as view the recording after the fact easier.

Worked perfectly OK here in Illinois. A click on the link in the reminder email and there you were, audio and video, in Microsoft's Edge browser.
Great presentation, many new insights (like location of a thermal depending on the cloud's size); thumbs up to the organizers and to Sebastian.

I am able to view the replay.

Note: Kawa's name is pronounced "ka-va" not "ka-wa."

We are working to edit the webinar a little bit to make it a better experience for those who did not see it live. Give us a day or two and then we will make an announcement and provide a link.

Thanks,
Bruno
