Default Remove layer of cloth/Gelcoat

I know it can be done.
On an ASW-15, the first layer of cloth was pulled off the wings and a
fresh layer of cloth was applied. It worked out well. The naked
surface is rough enough to allow good bond of new layer.

Schleicher manual mentions this in maintenance instructions- paint
cracks associated with damage that goes thru gelcoat into top layer of
glass.
