Default Towplane Mirror

I am looking for any suggestions on a good type of mirror for our
club's towplanes wing. I have a mount in place to accept a stud.

We have tried the 5 inch flat mirror, field of view too narrow. We
have tried a blind spot mirror, image at glider distance too small.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx

Pawnee 235, we use two mirrors.. both about 5in round flat.. mounted inside,
each side.. I've seen rectangular automotive mirrors mounted outside, each
side and forward. Mounting inside makes them easier to adjust.
