Powdered zinc oxide?
Would you happen to know what the solvent would be to enable me to use
this as a light primer over steel? - Mike On Sun, 02 Nov 2008 01:55:15 -0400, wrote: On Sat, 01 Nov 2008 13:32:35 -0400, Michael Horowitz wrote: other than for medical purposes has anyone seen powdered zinc oxide that could be mixed with a second agent to produce a specific quantity of zinc oxide liquid (which could then be sprayed or painted on)? - Mike Get it from any good ceramic/pottery supply. |

Tempo make it in rattle cans. You'll see it sitting on the shelf beside zinc chromate primer at your local pilot supply shop. Stealth Pilot |

Stealth Pilot Yeah, I had read where somewhere just used the cans and that's appearing to be the easiest option, if just a tad expensive; now if I can find out if the Steward System glues are OK with zinc oxide and two part expxy, I'll be in better shape - Mike |
