Where to find a salvaged flight deck

Where can I find a fairly complete flight deck from a large twin or
small airliner? Before I make a proposal to buy something like this,
I need to research the cost. We're planning to use it as a display
and for educational purposes.

If it is shorter than 13' tall we could build a trailer around it and
take it to schools, airshows, parks, etc. Then I could store in my
hangar to keep it out of the weather.

I only need the cockpit forward. And I am hoping that most of the
controls and custom items remain (such as seats, panels, windows,
levers, breaker panels.) As for common items (round instruments, nav
radios, etc.) I understand they may have been removed, but I could
fill any those holes with other spare (broken) instruments and
radios... The kids will never know.

Before I start randomly calling aircraft salvage yards, I want to
study this first to properly "talk the language" and understand how
the salvage business works.

I am hoping that somebody out there has already done this and can give
me advice on how to do this cheaply, as this is not part of our
current budget. Perhaps your EAA or Young Eagles chapter has done
this.

The idea came when I was in Tuscon Arizona lately.... There appear to
be 1000's of unairworthly aircraft in salvage yards.... at this point
is seems reasonable that somebody would sell me a rather complete
"cockpit forward" of any one of them.

Any advice or help would be appreciated.
