Default Amazing facts

Doug ,

It's a thought that many glider pilots have flown sailplanes the equivalent of
many times around the earth during their soaring careeers ( engineless).
I have a mere 3000+ hours and that includes about 85000miles cross-country ( or
more than 2 times around the world).
There are as you know many x/c pilots who have upwards of 10000hrs which adds
up to many more times around the world without an engine.
