My My, McNulty
It's all perfectly legal, as far as I know. The organizers of an SSA

regional
contest do NOT have to reside in the region and that's what we have here.

I don't know what your getting all in a huff about. Some eastern guys are
putting on everything and bringing all the workers. There really is no

reason
to call it region 9, anyway.

Legal or not, I like it.
JJ Sinclair

Our lawyer is now ammending the lawsuit to add Mr. J.J. Sinclair as a named
defendent. The legal theory is that any Region 9 pilot who had submitted a
deposit check prior to the change in ranking policy had a valid civil
contract. By his admitted actions as the "squeaky wheel" that led to the
change in ranking policy, Mr. Sinclair has committed tortious interference
in those civil contracts, and is liable for damages.

Calm down McNulty and take a deep breath. There is what the lawyers call
*precedence* for this. When region 12 wanted to hold a nationals at Tonopah,
they were told they must hold a regionals there first, so they did. Only
problem is Tonopah is in region 11. I'll be glad to take that to a Phoenix
court room.

This has been too much fun, but it's time to break it up. The *New* Parowan
entry list was an April Fools Joke. Karl and I have been working on this for a
month now. He cooked the books and I agitated the waters looking for some fish
to bite. Most of you figured it out, but I believe we might have caught a few.
The entry list as of March 31 is still the real entry list (the real one is
back up) http://parowan.soaringweb.net/Entry.html

A big April Fools Joke on those that bit.

Just for the record, I believe that ALL the pilots that reside in the region,
should be allowed to fly THEIR regionals. regardless of any ranking. This
little exercise has shown how the system works. I still think that *Reverse
Seeding* Sucks. If you are a new guy, or gal, BTW, that's what FNG stands for
(Fairly New Gal) You can get started in your regionals and there is no reason
to allow FNG's to enter from other regions.

See you at Parowan, If I make the cut.

What was that? All those little squares and stuff?

Decrypterd, it should have continued;

Tell you what, JJ; you can have my region 9 slot - we'll just switch
planes for the duration of the contest. That way you can savage all
the 15M yokels in my LS6 and I'll take my wife XC in your ASH-25.

Nice try Kirk, but after all the bad-mouthing I have done about you region 9
guys, you would probably fully insure your 6 and then cut the rudder cables
almost all the way through. Get a nice insurance check and get rid of JJ, all
at the same time.

JJ,

We would have had it a little south of Tonopah, but the feds did not
think much of a Yucca Flat Nationals.

Didn't a well known pilot do a little unauthorized reconnaissance down there?
Who was that well known pilot?

When I came out of the Yucca Moutain tunnel Wednesday the sky looked like it
would be easier to fly home (to San Diego) than drive. Would have been too
hard to show my badge from 12,000' so I drove.
