Why is that green shirt running away - we used to just grab hold of padeye,
and brace for a lift... grin
During flt ops blast deflectors are a real blast!! - stand behind one while
an F-14 hits his afterburners!!

What, are you with an unrep ship - what ship??

It looks to me like the "Green Shirt" is the cat crewman that held the
launch bar until the shuttle took up tension, and is now clearing the
aircraft for the launch.

The Kitty Hawk Carrier Strike Group along with the Japanese Maritime
Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) is currently participating in exercise
ANNUALEX. The exercise is designed to improve both forces'
capabilities in the defense of Japan. About 8,500 U.S. Sailors are
taking part aboard 13 ships, submarines and various shore-based
aircraft. About 90 JMSDF ships and 130 aircraft are also
participating. U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 3rd
