IMHO:
I would suspect that this messhall is in Europe
judging by the paintings on the walls in both photos
the patch on the left shoulder of the Tech Corporal?. appears to be
the SHEAF patch, however the flash over it, is too blurred to read
the thickness of the walls and the style of chairs and other points
to Europe as well. I've seen similair wall paintings in the German Alps.
the wine glasses on the bar shelves, look very much like the ones I have
that we got in Germany in the early 1950's
