electric plugs

Colin Glancing back at this thread it occurs to me that it isn't clear to me if you are speaking of a connector to be out of sight behind the panel or to be mounted on the surface of the panel. All of the received comments (mine included) refers to the former. For the later you would need to search for a "bulk head" jack and a matching plug. Also, will the connector be used for power, for signals (data, audio, etc), or both? This will point to the size of the wiring involved and potentially the type of connector. - John DeRosa
