Default Birds at Jeffco

Thanks for the compliment, Bob!

Camera is a new Nikon D200 and lens for the bird, MiG, and Venom is an old
non-CPU Nikkor 300mm f4.5 ED IF. Lens for the F16 is an AF Nikkor 70-210mm
f4-5.6. I shot bursts at 5 fps. All the images are cropped and massaged in
Photoshop.

I'm still experimenting will the camera settings. There are thousands of
combinations! This series was shot in Large (10 Mpixel) and Fine jpg with in
camera processing set to minimal.

I'm disappointed by the image quality. Even after processing they don't have
the wonderful "transparent" quality that the good photographers here are
able to achieve.

Here's a shot of the deHavilland DH-112 "Venom" from the same airshow.
