I am thinking about purchasing a new T Bird from Golden Circle Aviation, does
anyone know anything good, bad or indifferent about either of them?

I own a T-Bird II and if I were looking at buying new,
I believe that I would study the competition carefully.
You might try some newsgroups that lean towards UL's like
