Default iPhone upload to OLC

Does anyone use (or is it possible to use) an iPhone to upload their flight logs to the OLC? Thanks.

I've done it with an Android phone, so you should be able to do it with
your iPhone. You'll need to have the igc file on the phone, or a way to
access it from the phone, and then just use a web browser to do the deed.

Where is the IGC file? If you are using an iPhone app to generate it, I believe that app would need the built in facility to upload (iGlide for example). iOS 10 does not have a Finder, or File explorer, or otherwise user exposed file system. iOS 11 is supposed to have this facility. I believe Android has had it nearly from the beginning.

You can of course tether your iPhone to your computer and upload that way.

My IGC files get written to an SD card. I thought maybe I could connect a card reader to my iPhone and use that to upload but that may not be possible.

I use a HooToo thumb drive to copy files to the iPhone, then export to DropBox. Safari recognizes DropBox as a source of files to upload to OLC.

If you're stuck with a SD card, then I'm sure there's a product that allows you to transfer to the iPhone/DropBox for upload to OLC or any other website.

It worked! I downloaded my flight to Dropbox with a card reader and then uploaded the file to OLC. Thanks!

But how do you get the IGC file into iGlide? That's what the OP was wanting to do. If iGlide is running during the whole flight, then it will have a complete IGC file. But I do other things with my iPhone during flight, like communicate with my wife/crew once out of radio range, and take photos, and use WingX Pro to look at current sectional charts, etc...

I recently got a Air Vario (Butterfly) with the connect stick and have managed to get my iPhone to connect to the WiFi, but I can't figure out how to download the IGC file from the vario to the iPhone. Probably worth starting a new thread.
