Default Who finances used gliders these days? (USA)

I know about Lea County bank, but their rates seem a bit high in this economy,
any other leads would be appreciated....

Mark,
Check with your local banks and or credit unions. They are considered
"recreational" loans. Usually the rates are at a premium.

It might be better to arrange alternate type loans from the bank. A personal
loan is probably at a better rate. Some places offer a good rate on loans that
are backed up by something like your securities...

I just went through this with some friends and most anything we found beat the
aircraft loan rates.

Home equity loans are the best -- low rates, long terms, and tax
deductible interest

Went to the credit union here. 5% intrest on aircraft loan, little or no
hastle, and 11 year term. Not bad for an Air Force E-5 who just bought a toy
that is worth nearly double his yearly income.
