Default HELP - Stuck in Pittsbugh, anyone comming my way?

My medical is expired, I have not flown in 3 years, and I am very
anxious to get back in the air. Is anyone flying into or through
Pittsburgh, PA? Alleghney Co. or Pittsburgh International Airport?

I have ~1,600hrs tt from ERAU in Daytona Beach, but have gotten into
all kinds of other stuff since then, and need to get back in the air.
If you are comming this way, or have an airplane here, please let me
know. I can meet you out at either airport, and would be more than
happy to help with radios, navigation, and flight planning. My phone #
is (412) 922-4188.

You might want to check out local Civil Air Patrol squadrons.
http://www.cap.gov/ It's cheap (tax deductible, too) or free flying,
depending on missions. Lots of regulations and the necessity to
exhibit respectful admiration of the turf of multiple volunteer
bureaucrats is the tradeoff.

I would check several as individual squadrons seem to vary in
"personality."

Tradeoff, indeed. That's exactly what I found when I investigated it,
years ago. When I discovered my current FAA credentials (Pvt/Instr)
weren't enough for them, and they wanted to give me their own written
and flight test, I lost interest quickly. Who do they think they are
that they trump the Feds? Had my own plane anyway, didn't really need 'em.
